Dress Code

Smart casual. It will be quite cool for many attendees with temperatures ranging from 5 degrees to 20 degrees. June is a wet month in Fremantle. Sunset soon after 5pm means it may be quite cold when you arrive at and leave the venue.

For your convenience, the Forum Committee has selected some accommodation options available within walking distance of the venue and across price ranges. The Committee is not necessarily recommending these businesses. Make choices using review sites and user ratings about each accommodation offering. Prices were selected or provided at the end of March 2017. Hotel Booking Sites (eg Wotif, Last Minute) may offer better rates from time to time. Sharing with others in Apartments may reduce your per-person costs.

Esplanade Hotel.  Forum rate: $190/night – single, double and twin configurations available. Booking  through this link for this special rate. Our experience is that if you use the hotel web site  you may be offered much cheaper rates than $190.  Test a booking first.

Fremantle prides itself on its historical sites, waterfront views and water activities, cafes and restaurants. Freemantle Market place is a must do.  Historical prisons, museums and wonderful architecture set Fremantle apart from the also interesting and beautiful Perth.
