The 2017 Indigenous Focus Day hosted by IRCA and ACCAN was an astounding success with considerable pointed discussions about the Digital Inclusion Issues yet to address and those sucesses celebrated. The discussions elevated the important of connectivity to communities and the benefits of digital activities to communities’ futures. The forum was a private space for the invited 80 delegates to talk openingly and frankly about the work to be done. The uniquely Indigenous perspective was understood, respected and heard; for this is the design and purpose of the Day.
15 speakers added their voice to the stories and Christine Ross ably led discussions and assisted the delegates to draw conclusions and messages to send to the main forum on Thursday 22. This will be presented by Christine Ross. Information and presentation.
